Cortina Adrenalin Center

Flying through the treetops of century-old larches at 15 mt from the ground, hanging from ziplines over Nepal bridges, nets, cables, suspended walkways, swinging trunks and stirrups.
39 platforms and horizontal traverses offer exhilarating adventures and thrilling emotions to families, groups and single individuals.
Trails vary in length and difficulty to please all age-groups and abilities: those who climb for the first time and those who are already familiar with soaring high above the forest floor.

Tennis

There are many places where you can play tennis. At the Apollonio Stadium, which from May to September offers 5 outdoor tennis courts (2 in clay and 3 in Astro Turf), a tennis federation instructor is always on hand to help teach beginners the basics and experienced players improve their game.
The Tennis Club, located in Sopiazes and open all year round, offers indoor and outdoor courts, also available for 5-a-side football.

Ice Rink

The ice rink in Cortina is open during winter and summer with an ice rink (30 x 60 m.), bar service, masters rink, solarium and children’s playground.
The Olympic Ice Stadium was built as the house of “ice” sports for the  Olympic Winter Games in 1956

Golf

An exclusive club dedicated to golf lovers and habituè of the Queen of the Dolomites, which is already striving to become part of the international circuit, with 9 of its 18 holes already available on a breathtakingly beautiful course surrounded by majestic mountain scenery.

Fishing

Armed with a fishing rod, hooks and bait, enjoy a day of fishing in one of the many alpine lakes that can be found just a stone throw from Cortina. The spectacular lakes of Pianozes, D’Ajal, Scin andGhedina are the perfect places to enjoy the excitement of this age-old sport. Whether or not you catch anything, you are sure to be bewitched by the breathtaking natural beauty of the Dolomite landscape.

Riding

Set in an almost enchanted location, around two kilometres from Cortina town centre, is an agritourism with menage which offers a wide variety of activities for horse lovers. Younger children can ride ponies, which can be hand led, or take part in treks through the woods. For romantic couples, meanwhile, what better than a horse-drawn sleigh ride in winter, or an open carriage in summer? And for those who are determined to learn to ride, level 2 federal instructors are on hand at the menage, offering riding lessons, competition level training courses and stabling.

Canyoing

Cortina offers countless streams which are perfect for the adventure sport of canyoning: to the North-East on the outskirts of Pomagnagnon you can explore the Rio Travenanzes; the Rio Felizzon, Rio Federa and Rio Dortiè all cut through the north of the region in the Tofane area while the South-West offers Croda da Lago. This group sport is not only great exercise, but lets you explore the great outdoors and have fun. You can scramble through river beds and abseil down into gorges of breathtaking beauty. Alternatively, you can opt for a waterfall adventure, which can involve diving, sliding or climbing down, for truly unforgettable river adventures.

Minigolf

Outdoor fun for the whole family on the 18-hole mini-golf course.  Bar and terrace for an afternoonsnack or a drink while enjoying the views of the Dolomite peaks.

Curling

This bizarre sport, which began in Scotland in the 16th century and gained in popularity with the Turin Olympics of 2006, has been played in Cortina since the early 1900s. In 2010 the Olympic Ice Stadium hosted the Capital One Men’s World Championships. Today, those who fancy trying their hand at the sport can do so at the Curling Centre’s two rinks, near the bus station. Cortina Curling Association organizes group lessons with specialized instructors and athletes from the national squad.
